Timely information
Provide all information relevant to your case in a timely manner. If your attorney requests additional information, provide it quickly. When your attorney has to wait for information from you, it can stall your case and prolong your resolution. Should you have any questions about any documentation needed, discuss it with your attorney.
Communication
If you are not going to be able to attend a hearing, or you receive any information that relates to your case, be sure to share these things with your attorney as soon as possible. Also, keep in mind that your attorney most likely has additional clients and may not be available at all times. Try to be patient and schedule times to meet or speak when possible.
